Visiting Scientist Program

Each year, the Portland PADRECC sponsors a neuroscientist to visit the Portland VAMC to give a grand rounds seminar and meet with fellow scientists and clinicians. The purpose of this program is to foster collaborative relationships and promote research that can lead to improved care of Parkinson’s disease patients. Recent visiting scientists include Dr. Rodger Elble from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine and Dr. Erwin Montgomery from University of Alabama at Birmigham.
