Advances in the Treatment of Parkinson’s Disease

Goal of this program was to share updated research findings for patients with Parkinson's Disease, their families, and caregivers. Current research and future therapies to treat PD were presented. Talks about the progress of gene therapy treatments, neuroprotection therapies, critical analysis of benefits of alternative therapies, interventional MRI technique for DBS implantation, and a review of the link between PD and pesticides were presented by expert faculty.
